What amenities are included in the boat house homestay?

Our Boathouse accommodations typically offer basic amenities such as beds, bathrooms, a small kitchen, and WiFi, along with fishing equipment and kayaks for guests to use. Guests can enjoy the tranquility of being on the water, fishing, or kayaking, or simply relaxing on deck. Services may include basic housekeeping.

Are there any activities or attractions nearby?

Nearby attractions and activities include a picturesque waterfall, a serene river with beautiful stones, a delightful fruit and vegetable farm, opportunities for fishing with rods, as well as catching fish by hand or with nets, and the Bakun Farm Market selling various seafood and fruit. However, please note that all of these activities are subject to weather conditions.

Are linens and towels provided in the boat house?

Only bed linens are provided. Guests need to bring or can purchase towels and other necessities.

Is there parking available for guests who arrive by car?

Yes, guests can park at Bakun Port before boarding our boat. However, it's recommended to remove valuables from the car despite security at the Bakun Dam entrance.

Can you arrange transportation to and from the boat house?

We can arrange transportation only from the boathouse to Bakun Port. However, all other transportation arrangements need to be made by guests themselves.

Is there a minimum or maximum length of stay required for reservations?

Guests are required to stay a minimum of 3 days and 2 nights for reservations.

Can you tell me about the size and layout of the boat house?

The boathouse encompasses 400 square meters with three rooms featuring two double-decker beds each, while the fourth room offers ample space for additional beds or amenities. The kitchen is equipped for cooking, and handrails ensure safety throughout.

Can you accommodate special dietary needs for meals provided at the homestay?

As long as we are notified 48 hours beforehand, we are able to accommodate special dietary needs for meals provided at the homestay.

What safety measures are in place on the boat house?

The boathouse implements various safety measures, including installed handrails and requiring children under 16 to wear life jackets 24/7. We also have strict guidelines in place to prevent any unfortunate scenarios.

What is the cancellation policy for reservations at the boat house?

Once the deposit is paid, unattended reservations will not result in a return of the deposit.

Are there any specific rules or guidelines guests should be aware of during their stay?

Are there any discounts available for extended stays or returning guests?

For extended stays or returning guests, the rate per person will be changed to RM 480 instead of RM 500 if there are more than 15 people. Bills are included with food and water transportation fees. Insurance is self-bought, and there is a minimum requirement of 8 people to join. Children below 12 are not recommended.
